Hello!

My name is Nikolay Nuyakshin.

The project "One Hundred Portraits of Good People" began in March 2017. A friend asked me to take his photo for a personal portfolio. The photo wasn’t used in the portfolio, but I decided it could be a great starting point for a new project. Since then, I have been photographing portraits of different people every week.

With each new portrait, my understanding of the project evolves. At first, I thought I would be creating psychological portraits, then, for a while, I tried making emotional portraits. Now, I create portraits "without flavor enhancers".
